Application

The application of TwinN is a simple process. The freeze-dried microbes first need to be re-hydrated with a small amount of clean rain water. It is essential that rain water is used for re-hydration as tap or bottled water will affect the efficacy of the microbes. In order for the microbes to be properly activated, the re-hydration process takes place over a three hour time period.

After re-hydration has occurred, the TwinN solution can be mixed with de-chlorinated or further rain water ready for application. Methods of application include:

Foliar application:

• Boom spray
• Aerial
• Backpack

Irrigation:

• Overhead
• Fertigation/Drip Irrigation

Depending on the intensity of your operation, TwinN can be applied as frequently as you would apply any form of conventional nitrogenous fertiliser. TwinN contains living organisms and as such, climatic and soil conditions can affect the result. But where optimum conditions exist, results with TwinN are consistently good – see the research page for trial results.
